Role and Responsibilities:

Researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs which will involve building rapid prototypes to quickly demonstrate new features and validate product ideas

Writing robust application code that will power the company's internal systems as well as writing and deploying code for customer facing services

Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects

Investigating new technologies

Creating technical specifications and test plans

Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the business and the project
Your profile:

Our PHP Developer's writes beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

 You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

  • Proven working experience in PHP development and Laravel Framework
  • A solid understanding of OO programming concepts
  • Good knowledge of SQL 
  • Demonstrate a breadth of experience in using web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON/XML and CSS
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay ect)
  • Passion for best design and coding practices and desire to develop bold ideas
  • Experience building complex backend solutions
  • Display knowledge of distributed systems
  • Demonstrable experience of contributing to a product development roadmap and delivering on time
  •  Agile working practices. Experience working in a collaborative team using GitHub / Jira or similar
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills
  •  Well organised and determined to deliver a quality solution
  • Understanding the difference between engineering and over engineering 
  • Follow industry best practices
